AI is not a panacea for all human scenarios. It's greatest utility is in augmenting existing processes. As a STEM student, I often wondered what the future of education would be like when computers would become intelligent enough to prepare humans for the workforce. I reminisced upon Asimov's story of futuristic visions for schools and education as ChatGPT became popular by the day, seeing uses as diverse as music and advertising. Using large language models, this project aims to bridge the gap between text and visual media to communicate abstract ideas with students in a more intuitive and accessible sense. Users describe concepts in simple English, and the app translates intent into 5-10 second animations. The animations are free to download and are based on the Manim and PyCairo graphics libraries. The app is live at numvue.streamlit.app. Further discussion on the underlying principles involved in developing the project available at aqib.substack.com.
